Chelsea Handler Live @ Paramount Theatre (2/2/2022)

Great show and I remember my biggest takeaways after the show was that I really always compared her to one of the greats of comedy. Paramount Theater is a great historical venue located on the EastSide of Downtown Seattle and owned by the late and Legendary Paul Allen of Vulcan Construction. Chelsea Handler entered the show in a full jump suit like you might have seen Dave Chappelle wear in one of his specials in past years except hers didn’t have any letter on the side. She had some TimberLand boots on with her big blonde hair cascading down. Even though Handler was essentially wearing this AutoShop style suit that typically restricts the human eye from deciphering the intricate yet alluring curves that make up the woman species, she still pulled of the highly desirable generation X that shows the audience she can flaunt the independence, flip the stereotypes, yet reel things back in and tame down the woman hear me roar shit. She had some funny analogies and the only Modello19 joke I remember and care to share was the one small teaser of the show. She basically made a joke of how people were all wigging out during the 2020/2021 modello19 lockdowns and she was having fun discovering how much she likes hanging out with herself and doing whatever she wanted to do with herself. Very worth the tickets to see her live and she came out with her dogs which was some cool shit too.

Warrior of West Seattle, Nigel Wallace (9/8/2021)

I lost my brother Gnarly Nigel Wallace, a brave warrior, loyal friend and intelligent in all facets. I often joked with Nigel that some people will talk about the period of time of him. That we all lived in a period of time that Nigel existed. Because Gnarly Nigel was tough as railroad nails and you can’t even begin any story about Nigel without mentioning some of his key ingredients. I can remember the first fight I ever saw Nigel in. We were all headed out to a house party in Greenlake just North of Seattle. We were young kids going to a seemingly partial college party but I didn’t ask many questions after I heard it was a party. Even at this stage in our lives ever single person I knew in West Seattle already had their very own personal Gnarly Nigel story so it was just known where we grew up. Anyway, I was about 15 driving without a license with a car full of West Seattle inside on a fantastic voyage to explore the night. Nigel and all them were a bit older than me but I never felt like a tag along since the inception of my hangouts. Nigel was one of those guys who always made everyone around him feel special. If you were his friend, you were his family and he would immediately do anything for you. We arrived to this house party and very shortly after we get there in an unknown argument near the kitchen everyone just got amped to go outside and this party was about a block away from the main Greenlake avenue road. Some of these guys were College jocks that did sports and appeared to work out all the time so they seemed spicy about the occasion. I had one of those collapsible batons that I ejected out to pound stuff with. I remember opening the Baton and looking around the area and I see Christopher Townsend nearby who was one of Nigel’s best friends but also one that often got Nigel into a lot of fights for various reasons. However, in some situations Nigel would protect him because Townsend was handicapped from birth on his right arm which made that side of his body almost inoperable for combat scenarios. It’s very possible someone could have even made a joke about Townsend’s arm at the party because I could remember Nigel telling them to assemble their toughest and meet him out front. He seriously talked like that before a fight. No shit talking or bragging just some very specific instructions to meet him somewhere and be battle ready. Once we all were outside, I walked toward this enemy with a douche issued baseball cap placed on his head backwards with his letterman jacket squadron spread out behind him. Soon as I start to walk forward Nigel puts his arm in front to stop me which was like walking into the middle of an iron gate. He immediately punches this guy with a south paw left so hard that the guys hat came off but dropped directly downward from the impact. I remember when that happened people started yelling and screaming shit at Nigel. I look to the right and Townsend had one of those architect style x acto blades about maybe an inch long on the end of narrow pen style cylinder. Townsend sticks this guy wearing a deep V neck white t shirt like 3 times with his one arm and the dude was clearly not in major pain but still a shitty wound to have. Townsend tucks the blade away and speed walks out of view with his hood on. Nigel is over in the street fighting another guy and someone comes behind him to try and claim the title. This dude who was about the same size like 6’2 or 6’3 punches Nigel in the back of the head. I remember how it sounded. It was comparable to a person who was trying to pound sand with their fist, so it just made this thud on the back of his melon. The crazy thing was Nigel just kept going like nothing was behind him until his punching job was finished. Soon after Nigel turns around and starts boxing with the sucker punch guy. I remember thinking well that guy is going down so where are our other friends. I spot Aaron Schick getting body slammed by a bro pile of dudes. Then I look back at Nigel and he has this guy on the ground and as he is punching him -left -right -left -right then the guy moves around to try to avoid it and Nigel missed a couple times hitting the concrete. You could hear that noise too but it was more like just skin and bone hitting the ground. That guy was done quickly and when Nigel got up to fight these other guys they all just started backing away and I could hear one guy say, “No I don’t want to fight anymore”. I can still remember how the fear filled the street from these guys witnessing Nigel fighting for only barely even a minute. I look around again and Aaron Schick is already back on his feet and the entire group of opponents were are all focused only on Nigel who was crouched to the ground punching the guy he first knocked down. However that guy never got back up from the first hit and Nigel decided to go back and hit the body areas so that he didn’t kill the guy from head trauma. When Nigel moved away from that mess he just stared everyone down as a couple made attempts to confront Nigel. Almost as if these other guys figured they might as well get their ass beat too so that they could maintain loyalty to their friends that got beat up. I only seen Nigel punch one more guy and it was this quick jab like putting a period on the end of the fight. The guy just took his last hit and regrouped with his buddies on the side of the house. it was chaotic, it was barbaric, it was entertaining, it was discipline and it was Nigel getting gnarly because he wanted to protect his family at all costs. Next we hopped into my 1981 Beige Honda Accord and rolled out talking about it like a Mike Tyson fight that was over in minutes. Nigel was sitting shotgun and looks at me super serious like a meaty pit bull with no neck, with some puppy dog eyes and asks if I remember any of those guys he beat up being smaller than him. I laughed and said no because one of the guys was actually bigger. Nigel said he never wanted to beat up anyone that was smaller than him. Everyone in the back of the car was recapping the events about the fight and Nigel just sort of laughed in relief to his principles of fighting being upheld. Nigel was one of the funniest guys I knew and I felt like the two of us made things even funnier. When Nigel would laugh really hard he would snort and then immediate apologize about it with embarrassment. Nigel had very few immediate family members and lost his mother Victoria Wallace to a drug overdose when he was a teenager and then he lost his father some years ago. Nigel use to get really sad about missing his mother especially around holidays but that’s why we always spent holidays together. We shared some commonalities growing up in the streets with friends we call family and now I finally understand after all the funerals I attended, and all the death related tragedies. That no matter how many years went by Nigel was always still pained from losing his mother and it would never go away. I feel that way losing him. We went everywhere together and believed in each other along side great nights talking for hours at my house and reminiscing with a group that knew the stories best. I write this in tears and last night I went to sleep in tears about this but I was able to dream. I had this dream that Nigel was pounding on some wall to make them let him back into our world and you could hear him yelling and banging on this wall. In this dream Nigel would shout and slam his fists into the wall which would cause this distortion to make him appear in our life for a very brief second but then go away shortly after. I suppose I mention the dream because I feel like the only way I will get through this is if Gnarly Nigel never gives up trying to contact me from the other side. Until then I just need to rely on the comfort in picturing him on a beach somewhere with some black shades waiting to see me again.

My ” Skoob Tube ” Available on PODCAST apps Now; Spotify, Apple , Buzzsprout, etc (2021)

I have been doing this blogging thing for a couple years now aka not very long but I guess I enjoy opening up to the internet personally to the anonymously. I use to make tape recorded skits with my buddies way before even the rich kids had video recorders. Basically just recording quotes from movies that we thought were funny. Back then even if you had the dough for a video recorder how the hell could you do more than record and maybe watch the video playback on the main tube TV in the living room? Once the world allowed more advanced video formatting tools making videos to be sent and saved across any device it was a game changer for theatrical videos. Soon the editing tools to the every day consumer could be within anyone with a cellular phone. I am no expert in video editing than I am in blogging but I think it’s a fun outlet of expressing yourself. So this post is about my new Podcast I uploaded recently which will be part of a series each week. So far the podcast is available on Apple Podcast, Spotify, BuzzSprout, Deezer, and other various podcast listening apps. I will change the episode topic at random for whatever I feel but it will have some general episode outlines of; All things West Seattle, Wholesale Real Estate and Sales strategies, hobbies like Cars & motorcycles, music, movies and local events, and of course some politics, opinions and general freedom of speech. I included my Trailer to the podcast for you to see here in case you wanted to subscribe to my YouTube Channel where all the video action happens. Probably because I am sort of going for that Howard Stern, Meets Joe Rogen Meets Video Killed the Radio star with a strong sprinkle of Rage Against the Machine inspiration. Hope you check it out and have some fun with me.

To Whom it may concern 12/11/2020

I was thinking about changing my blog to a vlog since video editing seems more fun and I know I personally enjoy watching endless good videos on YouTube n such. So if I have any followers that were interested in these art projects of mine I just wanted to post this so they can be aware of why there wasn’t any new posts. I consider video editing an art form and making good video edits is like drawing or building something. Basically my plan was to start from my very first blog post and work my way upwards to present time. Of course some posts I might skip but for the most part I will capture the highlights into video stories or reviews. I think I will do a vlog style video thing for just about everything on here using all of these blog entries as templates or video outlines. I even plan to do a vlog on the Monastery post I made that seemed to get a lot of interest. So to anyone who reads this stuff check out my soon-to-be blogs on my current YouTube channel which is titled, you guessed it: “West Seattle King” and I will try to attach links to each blog entry in here as well. Thanks for reading, and West Seattle Militia !!!

Goodbye to Instagram 8/21/2013 – 11/5/2020

Looky Looky, here we are again. In the wee months to follow my unexpected Facebook account shutdown without any reason, I recently noticed now my Instagram was disabled by the app itself once again. I posted this blog with the birthdate that I created IG and once again the death. This headline showing the time I first acquired the app down to the very last day before the app was shut down without any warning to me. So once again, I didn’t post anything political or aggressive or anything inappropriate in any way shape or form. I did not bully or threaten or post nudity or do anything to violate there terms of us OR community standards. All I did was post pictures of cool cars, motorcycles and live concerts that I use to attend before Modello19. I digress…The reason I first downloaded the IG was because in the late part of 2012 I use to make random cell phone videos to send to friends that were about under a minute long. This would include motorcycle stunt videos or various comedy skits and sketches I would use from videos I had on my phone. So my biker friend Reid aka Stix, once said to me, ” Hey man, you should get an IG.” Because at that time you could upload a 30 second video into IG and edit or splice each video frame by frame until a mini edited clip was completed. This was a cool concept for a person who enjoyed brief edited movie clips. So I download the Instagram app and only ever uploaded hobbies of my life since it’s inception into my cell phone. However I felt since my IG was a public page that did not follow anyone and just posted things for me, I did not post faces in the IG app. I only had a few hundred posts, whilst never ever caring about the likes or the comments. Basically Instagram was my location to store pics and videos of my life and browse/click on other cool like minded peoples posts from time to time who pop up in my feed. That being said you don’t need to really follow anyone because your news feed will always populate things you clicked on or watched. So, as these many years of IG went on and posts and things happened I had no issues with my IG. My account stayed active like it always had and I never once ran into trouble with community standards or guidelines. That is until most recently I posted in this blog about Facebook randomly shutting down my account without reason and then shortly after this happens. Obviously we all understand that these a free services so they can do what they want. As I went through the basic prompts of trying to get my IG account back which was what I did when I lost my FB…I started to feel that familiar feeling like I once did googling how to get my FB back… the feeling like I was a tweaker trying to get my drugs and get my social media back. Suddenly I felt so free like an addict that broke through the chains of addiction. Shortly after this happened I coincidently watched a video by Jaron Lanier talking about people deleting their social media. Basically Lanier is this tech guru guy that had been there for the birth of companies like google and he created the early virtual reality platforms, so the guy is a smart dude for sure. The best way to describe this moment I am feeling is like when you are sick with some really bad illness but then the doctor gives you the medicine that actually heals the wounds in your brain stems. You start to feel it working as the detachment period goes longer from apps. You then start to give yourself different juices flowing through in a refreshing sense. I can recall slowly deleting the actual app on my phone while watching Lanier’s YouTube video. Not because I planned to delete every technological thing in my life like some weirdo in a basement covered with tin-foil on the windows. I don’t plan to hide out and never join the splendors of the Internet and other apps. I was just realizing certain things are un-needed and something needed to be altered in terms of priorities in my life. I feel great. I think the biggest thing I noticed is that losing both my FB and IG meant that I couldn’t have this false awesome or bad or indifferent life plugged into an internet app to be studied for reasons I am not told. Meaning you couldn’t view parts of my life in phones and would have to get to know me in person or possibly read my blog or watch my YouTube videos haha! Basically social media plays this give/take reward game, giving you something to look forward to every time you log in then taking away something at other times. We don’t notice it but tiny emotional triggers are being spoon feed to us with each scroll or like. Like most things addictive, social media can be fun and positive most of the time but also time consuming. After losing my accounts I think most people might have just opened up new accounts but I refuse to bow down to them. My ego overrides the brainwashing and tells me that if there is some reason the internet apps want to flush me out I should probably just stay in my lane because the universe could be helping me. Anyway, as soon as I first noticed my account was gone I followed the prompts on the IG app to attempt to recover my account and they even emailed me saying it was a mistake and they will be restoring my account yet it is still disabled last I checked. My accounts may reappear at some point or after this election madness ends but doubt I will notice after deleting the apps on my phone so I can focus on other projects. In some ways you feel like you slipped off the radar but in other ways you just feel a bit more connected to the earth. Besides, I have cool blogs and shit to post.

Thought of the day 8/29/2020

Love is the strangest feeling known to humans. Al Green knew a thing or two about love and he said “Love will make you come home early or stay out all night long” and it’s 100% true. Love can make you the best person in the world or the worst human to ever hoover across the lands. I think most humans are very fearful of love because it can cause you to be blinded by certain elements you would normally see if you didn’t have the love blinders on. This isn’t even only about love between someone you are intimate with. Love can play tricks on you even when you love a friend as a person you think you can trust. So imagine what humans go through when love decides to turn on them. In my opinion, love is traditionally seen as different love-languages. Most relate love to actions of some sort that determine or measure someones love for someone else. For an example; if someone cooks, cleans or provides for someone in some way is seen as a love language. While others might see fixing things, or finding solutions to problems a love language. Others might only relate affection or touch as a love language. Either way you look at it, usually words are often overlooked because they are so easily delivered through wet tongues or loose lips. Meaning that many do not see the words as the same importance as actions. I semi disagree because I think the words neatly placed on top of beautiful actions bring the whole love project together. When two partners collide their life experiences together and blend each ones knowledge of what the world has prepared them for…you get either a cosmic toxic explosion or a cute pattern fitting together like a puzzle. Not to say some people don’t fall into the happy mediums where the aren’t super sad or super happy but for the purpose of simplicity let’s generalize into love or hate sector. I think about this because I find myself as a blend between actions and words. I enjoy to be the problem solver in a relationship or friendship. I like to be the resourceful one who is knowledgeable about the task to be completed. Affection is very important mixed with the right timing for those actions. I think comic reliefs should be used strategically not just for deflecting. I believe that loyalty and trust should never be questioned or asked for since they are mandatory attributes of being someones friend. No one expects anyone to be perfect just that they exercise a level of integrity that proves ones character to be consistent with who they are. Humans are “forward thinking” brains which need to prepare for the future, which is literally the only reason humans have brains. Our brains are neatly placed in our domes to predict the future and what will happen next. If I touch the stove it’s hot and fire can burn me. If I don’t drive careful I might crash. If I find a partner I can be happy and if I don’t I might be sad. So we use these predictions as humans based off life experiences which love intertwines through this whole journey. The problem with love is that anyone I mean anyone can stop loving another person at any moment. So because of this many humans put up barriers without even knowing at times. You don’t see animals do this unless they have history of abuse. Humans can react just based of observations let alone life experiences. When it comes to love…I say, drop the barriers and be vulnerable. It’s human.

Safety Not Guaranteed Movie (2012)

What a cool fuck’n fictional movie of time travel. This movie is for fun, some comedy and romance and a few tech moments to keep your brain energized. Filmed in Seattle or at least the stories origination is in Seattle. This was a close look at a different Style of stories about some journalists covering a story for a popular Seattle magazine. The idea in the plot was these journalists were going to meet a guy who claims he built a time machine. So many great shots of West Seattle and Burien that you want to shout them out during the movie but instead you stay engaged in the story. There is a scene where the lead character gives the young, possibly, east Indian intern some advice about being young and chasing girls. He delivers probably the most truth in the transition into adult manhood that should be told to every young adult his age. In fact the advice to the young man probably should be sold not told. Very interesting series of events with a few twists in the story. The story line is about a guy posting an ad of craigslist about his time machine and needing one partner to go back to 2001 which he explains the importance of that year later. Stay tuned on that one. The build up is superb and keeps you on the edge of your seat. The story is the best part so keep watching till the end. One minute you think the inventor of this time machine is a crazy fuck with a hint of hilarious and then you start to think he is on to something. However he is sprinkled with his spaz-ness yet the guy is a bit of a bad ass and survivalist. Lots of great believable characters. The unapologetic realness of the senior journalist is perfect and even fucking hilarious at times so the whole drama comedy era brings you the real mix of drama meets comedy. The build up is worth it and the story line is legit, can’t believe I never heard of this movie before. Stay tuned for a potential West Seattle/Seattle/Burien -filmed -cult classic. PS: Aubrey Plaza is hot.

Dream 2/26/20

I had this dream a few nights ago. I was in a bus that had the whole roof exposed but it wasn’t a double-decker type bus it just didn’t have a roof at all. The inside was very plastic-like with metal framing and 70’s era plain colors. We were traveling at high rates of speed never seeiming to slow down, like maybe 90mph through downtown Seattle but there was no accidents and no matter how fast we went we just glided through the streets. All of the passengers in the front of the bus where wearing regular street clothes and appeared to just be riding the bus. I was dressed in all white shackled with a black number across my front. As it became clear I was in a situation of holding or incarceration I glanced to the right and seen many more potentially inmates in the back of the bus all shackled and dressed in white jump suits. There was about a handful of armed guards next to us and one of them shouted, “All of the prisoners sentenced to death move to the very back and the others all sentenced to life remain in the last rows of seating. I felt instinctively relived that no one objected to me just staying in the very last row with everyone who seemingly was sentenced to life to wherever or whatever that meant. I looked out into the horizon but it was all fogged in the distance but all I could see was downtown buildings passing by as if the city would just not end. I looked down to inspect my shackles to see if they were real or not but just then I heard a guard shout in my direction in a very clear manner that he was talking to me. He said it just like this with the pauses being very important to how I heard it…he said “Move back here! ..and prep… the very last, DEATH.…ROW!” and I walked over to one of the inmates he was eyeing me towards and though I never recognized the inmates face or anything about him I had this overwhelming feeling that we knew each other and that he was a good guy who was liked by many. I started to feel like he didn’t deserve to be put to death but in an effort to not be moved to Death Row I quickly put the provided tape around his eyes and a black bag over his head. As the blackness covered his face I could hear him sobbing very softly and noticed both his fists were tight with grip like he was prepared to cross over to whatever side a higher power would grant him as electricity was presumed to travel through his body. I sat back down and felt like I was sobbing for him, or maybe for me or I didn’t know why. The bus just picked up more and more speed while the buildings just kept passing. Then I woke up and noticed my eyes had signs of actual wet tears around the corners as if some aspect of this was real. I quickly pulled out my phone and jotted down everything I could remember in my phones “notes” section. I wonder if the dream was telling me that no matter how bad shit gets, even if I was sentenced to life riding a bus at 90mph through downtown it would be better than dying or living with some type of disability that would keep from moving around the bus. At least that’s how I want to look at it.

Tesla Cybertruck (2019)

I have seen the buzz about this on every website, social media and youtube channels. So I wanted to give my opinion on it for a complete outsider looking in. I have never touched it but this feedback is from what I have read and seen on it. Some features look to be in production so here is what I think of it so far. So first off, most people will bash the look of it because that’s typically why we buy any vehicle we like the looks of it. Then after we test drive it we decide if it’s functions meet our needs. However trucks are meant to have purpose not so much looks. I happen to think this truck looks fuck’n awesome and would be proud to take it anywhere. The next part that really moves me is the fact that it’s a very comfortable 6 passenger massive vehicle with tons of glass. I like to pack my fun cars with tons of people so I see the merit in the space. You are riding down the road in a giant fish bowl able to see everything and roll over just about anything. All the lighting packages look well done, with complete LED style illumination with daytime and night time brightness. The entire interior functions seems to be run off a big ass 17″ tablet style center that also looks to have every option you need at a finger tip away. No need for staring at various gauges as it’s all right there in the center. The fact that it’s electric has many perks but without getting into the differences between the options you can order, whether you buy the intro 40k version or the 70k decked out version your maximum potential is to have a decently powered machine with up to 500 miles of drive time. I mean really wrap your head around 500 miles and how far that is. Typical cars do an oil change every 3,000 and 6 charges it will drive all the distance and never need to see a jiffy lube or a gas station, OR a service tech at a Mercedes dealer for those upitty bitches…Also the fact that they are considering adding solar panels to the back which would mean when you park it you will actually add juice to it. This vehicle has plenty of storage space. The front acts as trunk to store belongings, as well as a flip up compartment in the rear truck bed in addition to a full truck bed. The rear comes factory with a bed liner that electronically opens up with a built in ramp in the tailgate to load other 2 wheel apparatuses like ATV or bikes onto. As well as self leveling air suspension to eliminate the need to battle load and unload situations. The wheels are straight forward and black. No need to get your panties in a twist over cleaning your chrome truck wheels as they these cybertruck wheels have a purpose to just go round and round, that’s it. The visibility looks great from the front seat and keep in mind your exterior is made of some space shit that can be hit with a sledge hammer and not dent. Meaning shopping carts, door dings, crazy bitches keys, rocks thrown or slight encounters with debris are a thing of the past. Multiple basic colors will be offered but keep in mind when AMC rolled out the Delorean it’s raw metal look was cool and was also stainless which had it’s benefits as well. In the demo of the cybertruck seen on youtube they threw some type of metal ball at the windows causing a dent which might have made people second guess the windows. Wake up you dumb fucks, if you threw even a rock at our standard window it would go straight through and blast you in your stupid head. So even if that demo was 1 of 100 tries that it actually damaged the window I would take that demo’ed window over a metal ball in the face on my own car. Also back to the looks of it, it looks like how cars will all look in the next 10 years so get over it. I think the price will win anyway so looks really don’t matter when most people buy trucks more about what it can do and how much it costs. This vehicle beats out any other full size truck with these features, You even take the Hummer H1 which is a military based vehicle with crazy strength. However the interior of those are 4 seats maximum with smaller bed space if you have one. Plus the H1 has much smaller windows. They also still burn gas or diesel and you get about the same clearance over things. This Tesla truck is gnarly and looks cool but I will say the only cons to me are the steering wheel and where the basic controls might be. I don’t know if I can get use to touching the center of the dash every time I need to do something but I imagine much will be voice activated for that car. We haven’t talked self driving or self parking as I haven’t seen that demo’d but even the idea of a self driving vehicle just slaps you in the face with FUTURE SHIT. The steering wheel looks odd but I am a guy that owns a Right Hand Drive Vehicle and I have zero issues with it after the first test drive I did. I think this truck will do well and many concept cars never make it very far but Tesla seems smart about this one.

Terminator 2 Judgement Day (1991)

In light of the fact they are currently finishing an official 3rd T3 movie which will be direct sequel to this excusing the other installments as if they were never made (which the fans are ok with) T3 “Dark Fate” will be released 2019 and will have the return of both Arnold and Linda in it which is something long anticipated if ever to be another. However the uncertainty if Edward Furlong poses a possible loss to making a masterpiece in my opinion. Anyway, back to why T2 was so legendary. James Cameron is genius using trick photography old school film making tricks combined with audio and visual professionals bringing everything together perfectly. T2 was and is my favorite movie of all time. In the film they give so many illusions of the way they want the city portrayed. They even wet the streets in certain shots to give better dark scenes, not to mention audio samples in scenes to create bigger suspense. Edward was cast as a part of open casting and found in a group home with the right amount of street smarts and a bad attitude to make his role super believable. Linda was coming from T1 and her story evolves into a hardened soldier preparing for WW3 against the machines seen in her flashbacks. Those flashbacks were made with real miniature robot models and real explosions not CGI. Many trick camera angles and cameras on cameras to give certain illusions the right clout to the story. If you were living under a rock somewhere the basis of the plot for every Terminator is that machines are secretly taking over and once robots are built they can turn on us. However in each movie you are only seeing a fraction of the potential power the machines have before they “become self aware” meaning they figure out they can kill humans off and take over. Arnold plays the ultimate tough guy/robot in this and protector of John Connor (Edward) but you also see a drama story of a lost/scared yet dangerous woman and a troubled kid who all start to semi have a family. All of the crashes, explosions and stunts are very real in this and lots of budgets went into staging the areas in CA to make it all believable. The story-line makes sense for what story they want to portray and much of the sound effects in the action scenes were thought out well and created to be very very realistic for it’s time of production in the earliest of the 1990’s. They put so much detail into every scene and it’s often overlooked how much the trick photography is used with other techniques like Cinema Verte which is the illusion that you are the camera man right there. I talk about cinema verte in one of my other blog posts. However that camera style is only used in scenes like where Sara Connor holds the medical doctor hostage as the camera bounces around as if it’s on your own shoulders. Also the use of “Magic Hour” right around sunset which gives the best natural lighting for any movie creator. Many scenes James Cameron waited for that exact moment before shooting. This movie is my favorite movie of all time and besides Arnold kick’n ass and Edward being the idol of young kids across the globe AND not to mention Linda being the OG badass chick of the era….it’s just a great film that broke records at the box office for years until The Matrix finally brought in box office dough to compete. Either way the next T3 or technically T6 they better come correct and try to use as less CGI as they can. Go old school for the win James and don’t be a sucka ass bitch and exclude Edward Furlong due to his rough times. Get him together and on the set like the family you all were suppose to be!
